Years ago after I wrote my first book, Message Sent, I had a woman say to me in a very hateful tone, “Well I hope it’s not about the self!” If it had been a few years prior to that time and before I did a lot of inner healing, I would have taken her words as an attack. But I didn’t that day. I understood her fear. Like that woman, I had been raised with a religious belief that said to love yourself is bad. And that you’re being selfish and wrong if you focus on the self. In this week’s blog I discuss this and explain why loving yourself is the furthest thing from being bad.
