Lynn Owens is a woman who lived a life full of people pleasing, saying yes to things that did not align with her, and a life she didn’t love. A life filled with stress, chronic stress, that is. This stress led her to hair loss, health challenges (thyroid disease and breast cancer), and depression. Lynn wore the mask of perfection, and tried to make her life seem authentic, but inside she was broken. She studied personal development, and yet did not use one thing she learned (watching The Secret, reading books, etc). until she received her breast cancer diagnosis, which is when she made a decision to rise up, renew my life, and live a life she loves.

EPISODE #66: An End to Upside Down Thinking
Thursday, December 6th ~ Mark Gober – An End to Upside Down Thinking
Mainstream scientific thinking say that we are conscious because of our brains. In other words our brain creates our conscious experience. But did you know that science has no idea how a brain could produce a mind? An End to Upside Down Thinking argues that consciousness doesn’t come from the brain at all. Rather consciousness is more fundamental than physical matter. Implications are that we all have psychic abilities, that consciousness doesn’t die when the body dies, and that we are all connected.
Mark Gober is an author whose worldview was turned upside down in late 2016 when he was exposed to world-changing science. This science suggested that contrary to mainstream assumptions, consciousness is not produced by the brain. After researching extensively, he wrote An End to Upside Down Thinking to introduce the general public to these cutting-edge ideas – all in an effort to encourage a global shift in scientific and existential thinking.
Mark is a Partner at Sherpa Technology Group in Silicon Valley, a firm that advises technology companies on mergers & acquisitions and strategy. He previously worked as an investment banking analyst in New York. Mark has been quoted for his opinions on business and technology matters in Bloomberg, Businessweek and elsewhere, and he has authored internationally published business articles. He graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University, where he was captain of the tennis team.

EPISODE #63: New VIBE App Takes Personal Evolution to the Next Level
Thursday, November 15th ~ Steve Sekhon – New VIBE App Takes Personal Evolution to the Next Level
In the current sea of mindfulness apps, meditation has become synonymous with mindfulness, but meditation alone, is not a reasonable path to a more mindful life. One must also take the critical step of learning and integrating the fundamental principles of living a mindful and fulfilled life.
The Vibe app fills this gap by connecting users with leading authors and thought leaders in mindfulness. App users choose their preferred “thought leader” who will provide them daily guidance in core fundamentals of mindfulness and spirituality, offering a framework upon which they can build our own inner truths. Other mindfulness apps offer support for meditation, while the Vibe app provides the building blocks to help us actually realize, connect with and deepen our spiritual, mindful selves.
After nearly 35 years of meditating, soul searching and personal inquiry, Steve Sekhon collaborates with Jarl to write daily messages that explore what it takes to live joyfully in peace. Their approach combines an understanding of psychology, metaphysics, the western mystical tradition and Eastern practices. He draws from his earlier incarnation as an international urban planner when he worked in Cambodia, Bosnia-Herzogovina and Southern Sudan, experiences that helped him to realize that each person is fundamentally free to make choices regarding his own perception and interpretation of events.
