Thursday, October 10th ~ Debbie Anderson: 3 Steps to Get Maximum Success from Oracle Cards
If you’ve ever used an oracle deck, you know that the perfect message you need to acknowledge right at that moment is always the card you draw. This ancient communication vehicle between spirit and human consciousness has long provided guidance for living in alignment with your heart, your soul, the Universe and the purpose you deeply desire to experience. It’s an unparalleled tool for helping make decisions or pointing the way to personal evolution, happiness and prosperity.
Debbie A. Anderson is one of the leading experts in North America on the use of oracle cards. Her four acclaimed gorgeously illustrated Vibrational Energy Decks for adults and children have sold more than 20,000 decks.
An internationally known clairvoyant born in England, she experienced spirit-communicating phenomenon from early childhood, saw people who had passed over, knew information about people that she could not have known otherwise, and could see future occurrences. Debbie was told that she was at risk of being institutionalized as psychotic, so she suppressed her gifts.
Venturing out gingerly, she started using the Tarot to guide friends, and she realized that it was not just the cards providing guidance, she was using her intuitive skills to augment what was on the card. At the Arthur Findley College in Stansted, Essex UK (which she says was like attending Hogwarts), during her 20s, the began to explore the mediumship side.
Eventually, spirit directed Debbie to apply those skills to creating her own decks to help people clear and enhance their personal vibrational energy. In the process, she became aware of how to guide individuals on maximizing their own intuitive skills through the use of oracle cards.
Debbie has developed specific steps that enable anyone to get the most success out of any oracle deck, and to heighten their intuitive skills.
Thursday, October 3rd ~ Athena Demetrios – Walking Between Worlds
It reads like a novel worthy of a film or TV mini-series. But Athena Demetrios’ memoir is no work of fiction. Walking Between Worlds: A Spiritual Odyssey is a courageous and unvarnished revelation of a deeply painful—yet uplifting—journey from darkness to light, a healing that would not have been possible without the extraordinary multi-dimensional spiritual experiences she opened herself to embrace.
Athena Demetrios is a spiritual intuitive, a medium and a channel. She maintained a successful career in the film industry as a make-up artist while exploring the world of the unseen. Her sensitivity as a psychic began to accelerate when a powerful spiritual experience opened doors into other dimensions.
Awakened in her darkest hour by the Ascended Master Saint Germain and guided by his teachings, she began her journey towards healing and transformation. Through hypnotic regression that enabled her to explore repressed memories of childhood sexual abuse, she regained her power.
Athena became a channel for the grand spirit of Dr. James Martin Peebles, a 19th-century spiritual philosopher she affectionately calls her Mystical Muse. Today, she facilitates seminars in higher consciousness where she shares the tools and insights of her own odyssey, assisting and empowering others in the discovery of their own Divine Presence.
Thursday, September 26th ~ Stress: A Surprising Rx for Peace with Dr. Dravon James
It seems stress is never in short supply. According to the news, jobs are in short supply, affordable housing is in short supply, safety, clean water, and even good relationships are hard to come by. But not stress. Stress and the guarantee of more stress rank up there with death and taxes; in other words, it’s inevitable. However, Dr. Dravon James believes that the more stress shows up in life, the more opportunities for genuine self-love.
Dr. Dravon James is the founder of Everyday Peace. An author and motivational speaker, Dravon’s goal is to educate, empower and inspire others to build the life of their dreams no matter what shows up in their lives- good, bad, or otherwise.
Her journey began in poverty on the South Side of Chicago. Though she had always dreamt of a career on the stage, Dravon went on to earn a doctorate in pharmacy from Creighton University and has worked as a pharmacist all of her adult life. Along with her medical career and theatrical aspirations, Dravon has also always had a keen interest in personal development. After reading Norman Vincent Peale’s The Power of Positive Thinking in college, she went on to make a lifelong study of the power we all have to create the life we want.
The insight she gained from her study has served her well during good times and bad. Her marriage hit the rocks, several of her pregnancies failed, her career took a tailspin for a time, and her health has been challenged, yet through it all, she has continued to follow her dreams and now teaches others to do the same. Dravon is now the happy mother of two teenagers, a wife of 23 years, a successful pharmacist, a motivational speaker, the author of Freedom is Your Birthright and an actress whose career credits include a recurring role on HBO’s acclaimed “The Wire,” many stage plays, and independent films. She continues to inspire and teach what she knows to be the most effective tool for transforming, creating and building a spectacular life—tapping into Everyday Peace. Her client list includes the University of the District of Columbia, New Hope World Ministries, Today’s Care Adult Daycare, Stadium Place, and Next Chapter online radio.
Thursday, September 19th ~ Florence Ann Romano: How to Raise a More Connected Generation
According to a recent survey by the global health service company Cigna, the loneliest generation in the United States today is not the oldest Americans but the youngest, specifically young adults between 18 and 22 years old. Students may have thousands of friends online, but few in real life. As a result, they feel disconnected from what it means to be human. The influence of many factors and the reality of the world we now live in has directly contributed to a crippling sense of anxiety and alienation in students across the country, but the question is what can we do to put a stop to it for the generations to come?
Florence Ann Romano, The Windy City Nanny™, is a dedicated philanthropist and former nanny who has always had a special place in her heart for children. Romano worked for over 15 years as a nanny, beginning as a ‘Mommy’s helper’ at the age of 11. She shares her experiences in Nanny and Me (Mascot Books, May 2015), her beautifully illustrated debut book for children making the transition from being cared for solely by their parents to having a nanny in their home.
Born and raised just outside Chicago, Romano earned a degree in performance theatre at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. She is the owner of Trinity, LLC – a 100% woman-owned and new family company that runs the Kindred Content production company. Romano also serves as President and Founder of a junior board for young professionals that support Autism awareness for children and adults.
[REPLAY] Thursday, September 12th ~ Prissy Elrod – Reinvention: Finding Hidden Passions After Tragedy
Please join me as I welcome Prissy Elrod to discuss one of the best books I’ve ever had the pleasure to read, and how she opened up to hidden passions after a personal tragedy.
Prissy is a professional speaker, artist, humorist and the author of Far Outside the Ordinary, which has been described by some as STEEL MAGNOLIAS meets THE HELP. It’s her story and is absolutely brilliant. Since the book was released, bloggers from California to New York have reviewed and shared her book with their readers and Prissy has personally spoken, or Skyped, with over one hundred book clubs throughout the country. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this book will one day be on the big movie screen.
Take a journey with Prissy and me as we discuss her book, and how you, too, might find your hidden passions whether or not you’ve experienced tragedy.
